Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become increasingly recognized and embraced by companies as both an ethical obligation and as a strategic competitive advantage. In its second year, ‘Beyond CSR’ is an annual conference organized by students from the McGill Desautels Faculty of Management and HEC Montreal. This partnership reflects the growing approach and need of cooperative efforts in understanding how sustainability can be woven into the environmental, social and financial aspects of business. This one-day conference brings together leading professionals, academics, MBAs, and select undergraduate students to share experiences, present innovative ideas, and learn from each other.
